There’s such an awful lot of things happening and I have so much work to do that I kind of buzz & glow in contendedness and stress. Yesterday our dear soundguy Andi installed a new PA for the venue I work at, and I can’t wait to hear it working tonight for the first time when PATRICK WOLF plays there! 🙂
Played with Plot To Blow Up The Eiffel Tower last week. That was a really fun night with the xyeahx dudes and dudettes! Big thanks for having me go out to them. I went to “Dischord Weekender” (a festival that honestly didn’t have anything to do with the things I like about Dischord) last Saturday and it was kind of absurd to sit on a sofa, with a bottle beer in one hand and a cigarette in the other watching an old Minor Threat video. I missed the best band, Genetiks, and only saw a punk rock cliche band and a hardcore cliche band. The last ones, Five Knuckles, still were fun cause they were so euphoric about what they played and Seppo Defect spontaneously joining them to sing a Minor Threat song was fun.
We had Subtitle playing at K4 last Wednesday with Chris spinning some records before and after the show. It was a really nice evening thanks to Subtitle being such nice people. There were only about 15 or 20 people at the show but it still was a cool night.
